Senior Contracts Administrator | $580M Apartment Development

Randstad is partnering with a leading developer builder to recruit an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator for a landmark $580 million apartment development in Brisbane’s inner northern suburbs.

The role

Working closely with the Commercial Manager and Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the commercial administration of key trade packages from procurement through to final account. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a complex, high-profile project while being supported by a well resourced and experienced project team.

Key Responsibilites

• Lead the procurement, tendering and negotiation of major subcontract packages.
• Prepare, negotiate and administer subcontract agreements.
• Manage subcontract and head contract variations, progress claims, EOTs and contractual correspondence.
• Monitor project costs, prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flow reports and monthly financial reporting.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure contractual compliance and maintain accurate commercial documentation.
• Build strong working relationships with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders.

Experience and Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator, or an experienced Contracts Administrator ready to step up.
• Strong understanding of Australian construction contracts and commercial management principles.
• Excellent negotiation, financial management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Australian working rights.
